Background. I am a graduate of Georgian Court University, where I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also hold a PhD in Counselor Education from Montclair State University. Over the last decade-plus, I've worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient, intensive in community, and crisis management.
Credentials and Licensing. I am licensed as an LPC and ACS in New Jersey.
Areas of passion and specialty. I've dedicated myself to working with children, adolescents, and families over the last decade, and specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming counselor.
Approach. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and creative techniques to help clients reach optimal wellness. I believe in the connection between mind and body, and strongly encourage my clients to care for both their physical and mental health. I take a strengths-based approach to counseling, drawing on your existing strengths and facilitating maturity where you most desire growth.
