Approach. As a therapist, I strive to meet the needs of each individual through trust, collaboration, and by creating a strong therapeutic relationships that foster a supportive, positive environment for children, adolescents and young adults. By providing a safe space, I allow my clients to feel heard and understood. Being able to articulate your feelings about struggles and hardships decreases the isolation brought on by negative experiences. My education is the foundation on which I build strategies for addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, abuse and trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, and emotional dysregulation. I enjoy employing aspects of several therapeutic approaches in my practice including play therapy techniques, as well as strength based and solution focused interventions. I feel lucky to be a support for my clients and provide a space where my clients feel comfortable expressing themselves, and in opening their hearts and minds to healing.
