Background. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a concentration in Children and Families and my Masters degree in clinical Mental Health counseling from Kean University in 2018. Since then, I have worked in various settings including residential care, inpatient hospitalization and private practice.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey.
Areas of passion and specialty. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and couples. My recent tenure in a residential care setting for adolescents has enriched my expertise in addressing conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), chronic depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma. I am especially passionate about fostering connection and understanding between adolescents and their families.
Approach. I am dedicated to empowering clients by providing them with the tools to connect with their inner strength, enabling them to manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors effectively. My therapeutic approach emphasizes individual strengths, promoting healthy habits, and equipping clients with new skills to navigate the world confidently. I have a background in DBT and wholly believe in the effectiveness of the skills taught using this approach.
