Background. Faith earned her Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey in 2022. Faith is currently finishing up her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and will graduate in May of 2025. Faith has experience working with a variety of populations at the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient level of care as a Mental Health Associate and Clinical Intern. Faith has worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults in both group based and individual settings with a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed approach. 

Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor candidate and Clinical Intern scheduled to graduate in May 2025. I am currently under the supervision of Aly Resnick, MA, LMHC, LPC, ACS as well as supervision from her Masters program at The College of New Jersey.

Areas of passion and specialty. Faith is passionate about working with anyone going through life transitions and difficulty coping with life stressors. Faith is passionate about being an LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming counselor. Faith is deeply committed to embracing a mindset of cultural humility, which means she strives to be self-reflective, aware of any potential biases, and dedicated to her ongoing learning and growth. Through her time in working in other settings, Faith has had experience working with a trauma-informed approach. Faith is passionate about fostering self-compassion and empowerment. 

Approach. Faith emphasizes a nonjudgmental and collaborative space in order to foster trust and safety. Faith likes to use an adaptive and collaborative approach knowing there is not a “one size fits all” in therapy. Some treatment modalities Faith uses include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Reality-Choice, and Existentialism. Faith is passionate about common humanity and empathy as the foundation in the therapeutic relationship in order to help guide and challenge individuals to feel empowered in their own decisions. Faith values creativity in the therapeutic space to allow individuals to think critically and make connections.
