Background. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore City. Since completing my graduate degree, I have worked with diverse populations at organizations such as The Center/The Youth Center in New York City, Carrier Clinic/East Mountain Youth Lodge, and HiTOPS in New Jersey.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey and a certified 200-hour hot vinyasa yoga teacher. Additionally, I hold a Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) Certification from Columbia University in New York City.
Areas of passion and specialty. I have a particular passion for supporting transgender, non-binary, and queer individuals as they explore their gender and sexual identities. Whether you are navigating the transition process, seeking support letters, or simply looking for a safe and affirming space to share your unique experiences, I am here to walk with you every step of the way. Above all, my priority is to ensure that you feel seen, heard, supported, and valued for who you truly are.
Approach. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, client-centered, and strength-based, designed to empower you to take bold steps toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I work with clients facing challenges such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, self-worth, self-harm, bullying, stress management, complex PTSD, grief and loss, and other mental health concerns.
Fun Fact. Outside the therapy room, I love running, enjoying family and friends, diving into audiobooks and podcasts, watching crime documentaries, and relaxing at the beach.
