Credentials. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the states of New Jersey and New York. Last year, I became certified in Exposure and Response prevention for Obsessive Compulsive disorder.
Areas of passion and specialty. I am fortunate to have worked with clients of various ages, with many different mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to: OCD, Anxiety disorders, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Depression, and PTSD.
Approach. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, collaborative, and compassionate. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, safe space by providing gender inclusive, trauma-informed care to individuals and families from diverse populations. Mindfulness based emotion regulation skills are regularly incorporated in much of my clinical work. The interventions I frequently utilize include: Exposure and response prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy, Motivational interviewing, Psycho-education, and supportive counseling.
