Credentials. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey. Currently, I'm working on becoming certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
Areas of passion and specialty. I am fortunate to have worked with clients of various ages, with many different mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to: ADHD, Anxiety disorders, Bipolar disorder, Depression, OCD, and PTSD.
Approach. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, collaborative, and compassionate. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, safe space by providing gender inclusive, trauma-informed care to individuals and families from diverse populations. I believe that the most effective way to navigate challenging emotions and stressors is to become as connected as possible to the present moment. Mindfulness based relaxation is regularly incorporated in much of my clinical work. The interventions I frequently utilize include: Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy, Motivational interviewing, Psycho-education, and a Client-centered approach.
