Background. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology through The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and my Master of Social Work Degree through Rutgers University’s Intensive Weekend Program. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with outpatient and partial care experience. I have experience running and supervising an outpatient program for four years and assisted in implementing a mental health prevention program in the community.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Clinical supervisor in the State of New Jersey.
Areas of passion and specialty. I have clinical experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of trauma, LGBTQ+ individuals, the immigrant population, and individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. I am also Spanish speaking.
Approach. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which I have utilized with trauma survivors. I primarily utilize concepts from attachment theory, cognitive theory, and psychodynamic theory to provide support to my clients.
