Background. I attended Ramapo College of New Jersey for my Bachelor's in Social Work, and New York University for my Master's in Social Work. Upon graduating I went on to work in schools as a social worker in elementary, middle, and high school levels. I have also worked in Partial Hospitalization Programs and worked with adults on a wide range of challenges.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Social Worker under the supervision of Sully Soto, LCSW-S and also a New Jersey Certified School Counselor.
Areas of passion and specialty. I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Grief/Loss. I am fortunate to have been able to work with individuals of a variety of ages and backgrounds, and aim to provide an environment in which all challenges can be explored.
Approach. I aim to provide a comfortable and nurturing environment in which each and every person can be their true selves. I work from a Narrative Therapy perspective in combination with tools from CBT and DBT to provide individuals with a skill set in which they feel empowered. Entering therapy is a vulnerable and courageous decision, and by sitting in discomfort, we can find our way together.
