Background. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Stockton University. I went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a specialization in Alcohol & Drug Counseling, at Monmouth University. I also received my Student Assistance Coordinator endorsement through Monmouth University and completed coursework for EMDR services as well as Sand Play Therapy.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor.
Areas of passion and specialty. I've been working with adolescents for 6+ years in PHP/IOP, outpatient, and school settings. She’s been drawn to working with adolescents as she recognizes this as a pivotal time in their lives as they approach emerging adulthood.
Approach. I remain person-centered, while incorporating various modalities to help clients feel heard, supported, and confident in accomplishing their goals. I also believe in the power of education and knowledge and incorporates this into her work with clients and families to better assist in their understanding of themselves and their journeys.
