Background. I completed my undergraduate degree at Montclair State University majoring in Psychology. I went on to complete my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The College of New Jersey.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
Areas of passion and specialty. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and couples across the lifespan with a range of presenting challenges. My experience includes but is not limited to: anxiety disorders, grief/bereavement, life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, the LGBTQIA+ population, and self-confidence.
Approach. My number one priority is to facilitate a non-judgmental environment and therapeutic relationship where all of my clients feel safe, heard, empowered, and validated throughout the therapy process. I am devoted to creating a nurturing and inclusive therapeutic space, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life. I utilize a flexible mix of evidence-based treatment modalities to tailor each therapeutic experience to the unique needs and goals of each client. I actively incorporate therapeutic approaches from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Intuitive Eating, and mindfulness-based interventions in my work with clients.
