Carlin Glyptis
Background. I received my master’s degree in social work from Monmouth University where I gained experience in inpatient and outpatient settings with a variety of populations including adolescents and adults. Prior to this, I worked in education, fitness, and corporate environments. The culmination of my experiences has contributed to my understanding of people and relationships from many walks of life.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) under the supervision of Lindsey Behr, LCSW-S, LCADC.
Areas of passion and specialty. I work with clients from various stages of life (pre-adolescence to senior adults) experiencing issues related to, but not limited to, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships.
Approach. I offer a calm, empathetic, and supportive environment for my clients to explore the influence of past and present experiences on their current feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and perceptions. I value practicality and results over theoretical consistency, allowing flexibility to meet clients where they are in the therapeutic process.
