Background. As a Licensed Social Worker, I will work alongside you to define and work towards your goals. I approach all clients from a strengths based perspective, which has been shaped around the philosophy that people are not fundamentally fragile. We are not cut down by hardships and tribulations, rather, we may be strengthened through thoughtful and practiced responses to stressors and pain. I will help clients use these principles to promote their strengths and to improve confidence and functioning.

Areas of passion and specialty. I am especially passionate about working with people with chronic mental and physical illness, given my experience and skills in this domain. I provide emotional support to clients and families undergoing life transitions brought on by age, death, illness, trauma, and changes in family structure, among others.
