Background. I have been in the mental health field for over 15 years and have experience in a multitude of settings including case management, Ocean County Jail, PHP/IOP, an adoption agency, and private practice. All of these experiences have given me insight into different aspects of mental health and led me to where I am now.
Credentials and Licensing. Currently I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey, as well as an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I am also a registered telehealth provider in the state of Florida.
Area of Passion and Speciality. I love working with female, male, non-binary, and questioning late teens and beyond. I currently work with LGBTQIA+ folks and have been honored to witness my transgender clients as they have transitioned to who they truly are. I work with moms finding their way through motherhood, young adults finding their path, men working on life transitions, clients who are working through grief and trauma, and being “seasoned”, working with older adults.
Approach. Sometimes navigating life transitions, motherhood, traumas, relationships, gender identity, sexuality, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, and simply being in today’s climate can become overwhelming. I create a safe space for my clients to explore what they need and who they are without judgement. I utilize an eclectic approach to meet my clients where they are, creating a client-centered approach as everyone is their own person. I want my clients to feel empowered and heard when they leave my office.
