Areas of passion and specialty. I enjoy working with all populations and have experience working with children, adults, and couples. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Approach. I utilize an eclectic approach and tend to tailor my skills to fit the needs of the specific client. Everyone is different so we will try different treatment modalities to see which one works best for your needs. I use Cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and Rational emotive behavioral therapy. I also love the use of art and music to help process feelings and develop an ability to solve problems. i take a collaborative, transparent, and goal-oriented approach to therapy. I work hard at developing a relationship with each of my clients to help them feel safe and secure in order to navigate areas of concern and grow into the best versions of self, I focus on resilient, positive strategies, and coping skills as we discuss your concerns in a safe and comfortable environment. I strive to help empower my clients as they work their way with finding new ways to think and manage ongoing triggers; to process their emotions and find new adaptive behaviors. They engage their present with more intention, clarity, and meaning.
